About Us

We are a conservative Christian Homeschool Group located in Davie County, NC, but we welcome families from surrounding areas as well. Our group is for children ages 5-10 but older and younger siblings are welcome.  Our family is multi-ethnic and we welcome all ethnicities.

Mothers are expected to accompany their children and participate in activities.

Purpose

To establish a community of like-minded Christian mothers who are choosing to homeschool their children and raise them in the Lord.  We value our faith, interpersonal relationships and regular community gatherings, including field trips, play dates, picnics and educational-enrichment activities.

Statement of Faith & Conduct

Our community shall uphold the following statement of faith. While this is not exhaustive of all that we believe, we ask all families to uphold these essentials.

  • We believe the Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds and opinions shall be tried. (2 Tim 3:16-17, Heb 1:1, 2 Pet 1:20-21)
  • We believe that God is one and triune, eternally existent as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Gen 1:1, John 1:1, John 15:26, 1 Tim 3:16)
  • God is the creator of all things, having made the world and all that is in it in the span of 6 literal days (Gen 1)
  • While God made Adam and Eve good, they chose to disobey God. Consequently, all Creation is now under the curse of sin and death. (Gen 1-3, Rom 5:12)
  • God sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as Savior of the World to save us from the power and penalty of sin and death. Born of the virgin Mary, Jesus who was without sin, died in our place on a cross, taking our sin upon Himself and rose from the dead the 3rd day for our justification. (John 3:16, Mat 1:23, 2 Cor 5:21, Rom 4:25, Rom 5:8, Eph 2:14-16, Phil 2:8, Tit 3:4-7)
  • All who repent and believe upon Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, shall be saved. (John 3:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 16:31, Rom 10:9)
  • We are saved by God’s grace through faith unto good works.  (Eph 2:8-10; James 2:17)
  • One day, the Lord Jesus Christ will return and all who are in Christ shall dwell with Him forever (Titus 2:11-14, John 14:2-3, Acts 24:15, Phil 3:20, 1 Thes 4:13-17, Rev 20:1-15, Rev 21:1-8)
  • God created us distinctively as either male or female and intends marriage to be between one biological man and one biological woman for life. (Gen 2:24)
  • We believe that we should love and respect one another (John 13:35; Rom 12, 1 Cor 13, Col 3)
  • We believe that we should be humble and modest in lifestyle and dress. (1 Pet 3:8, 1 Pet 5:5, 1 Tim 2:9, 1 John 2:15-17)
  • To make the best use of our time and avoid distraction, children should not use electronic devices while participating in group activities.
  • Mothers should assist with correcting their children as needed to ensure a harmonious atmosphere.

We look forward to hearing from you!
